The CO2 dragster was inspired by the Technology Student Association event "Dragster Design." A C02 cartridge is inserted into the hole in the back of the car. Two cars next to eachother on a track have their cartridge punched at the same time and they race down the 66 foot track in less than a second! The car was designed in Solidworks and the tool-path with CAMWorks. The car was painted using spray paint and an airbrush and fitted with 3D printed back wheels and laser cut acrylic front wheels.
