This robot was designed and created as a part of my ME 2110 class during my third year at Georgia Tech. The goal was to score points by depositing ping pong balls into the rotating centerpiece and moving the wooden block back to the starting zone. Our team went through the engineering design process over the course of the semester to come to our final design. We began with customer and engineering requirements, continued to create concrete specifications and functions, and finally used a morphological chart to evaluate different designs against the requirements. In the end, our team produced three reports, made three presentations, and scored the 5th highest point average out of more than 60 competing teams.
