The snowman ornament was an idea I had for a Christmas present for my family. I designed the model in SolidWorks, with different models for the body, hat, arms, and nose. I utilized tolerancing principles so that the plastic pieces would still fit together even with the inaccuracies of the 3D printers. Then, the pieces were set-up for printing on an Ultimaker Cura to ensure the most efficient and effective prints. After the pieces were printed with different color PLA filament, a Circuit was used to cut out vinyl stickers for the face and buttons of the snowman. In order to preserve the orientation of the circles, transfer tape was used to move the stickers onto the snowman.
